Terms of Service

The Remedy Hub

Last updated: 03/08/2026

These terms apply to all treatments and services provided by The Remedy Hub ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking, you ("you", "the client") agree to them. Please read them before your first appointment.

1. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed only once we have acknowledged it and payment has been received.
  • Prices are as listed on our website at the time of booking. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.
  • Treatment times include consultation and getting ready. A 60-minute booking is 60 minutes of your appointment slot, not 60 minutes of hands-on treatment.

2. Rescheduling, cancellation and no-shows

  • Rescheduling: Free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice before your appointment time. Your payment carries over in full.
  • Inside 48 hours: Rescheduling is not possible. You may attend as booked or cancel. Cancellations made inside this window retain 50% of the fee to cover the reserved time.
  • No-shows: Missing your appointment without notice forfeits the fee.
  • Completed treatments are not refundable.
  • If we cancel: If we have to cancel or move your appointment, you will be offered the first available alternative slot or a full refund — your choice.

3. Late arrival

If you arrive late, your treatment will end at the original scheduled time so that following clients are not delayed. The full fee remains payable. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean we cannot carry out the treatment, in which case it is treated as a no-show.

4. Health, suitability and consultation

  • You may be asked to complete a health questionnaire before your first treatment, and to tell us about any changes at subsequent visits.
  • You must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, recent surgery, pregnancy, or medication that could affect your treatment.
  • Some conditions mean massage is unsuitable, or that we need written approval from your GP or specialist first. We may decline or adapt a treatment on these grounds, and will do so in your interest.
  • If you withhold or give inaccurate health information, we cannot accept responsibility for any resulting harm.
  • Please tell your therapist immediately if anything during the treatment is uncomfortable or painful.

5. Massage and Cupping are not medical treatment

Our treatments are for relaxation and general wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical advice or diagnosis, and we do not diagnose conditions or prescribe. Please consult your GP about any medical concern.

6. Professional conduct

  • All treatments are strictly non-sexual. Any request, remark or behaviour of a sexual nature will result in the treatment being ended immediately, no refund being given, and the incident being reported to the police where appropriate.
  • You will be appropriately covered with towels or a blanket throughout; only the area being worked on is uncovered.
  • You may ask the therapist to stop, adjust pressure, or avoid an area at any time, for any reason.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or end a treatment where a client is abusive, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or where the therapist feels unsafe.

7. Under-18s

We treat clients under 18 only with the written consent of a parent or guardian, who must remain present for the whole appointment.

8. Your personal information

We collect your contact details and health information in order to provide treatments safely. Health information is handled as special category data under UK GDPR, on the basis of your explicit consent, and is kept confidential. Records are retained for 2 years as required by our insurer and professional body. Full detail is in our Privacy Notice.

9. Liability

  • We hold professional and public liability insurance.
  • We will carry out all treatments with reasonable care and skill.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
  • We are not liable for loss or damage arising from a failure to disclose relevant health information, or from a client not following reasonable aftercare advice.
  • We are not responsible for personal belongings brought to the premises.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment, please tell us as soon as possible at laylakaan8@gmail.com and we will do our best to put it right.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time of your booking is the one that applies to that booking.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
